Ravenholme is a small New Zealand studio building and publishing its own software. We work where clarity, trust, and taste need to coexist.

Small is a practical choice. It keeps the people making the product close to the people using it, and leaves nowhere for a weak decision to hide.

How we decide what belongs.

The method is not mysterious. Make the product legible, make the reasoning inspectable, then make the whole thing worth keeping. For the betterment of humans, which is the only reason worth doing any of it.

Clear before clever

The interface should explain itself before the brand asks to be admired.

Evidence has a shape

Sources, limits, and uncertainty belong in the product, not in the small print.

Restraint is a feature

We would rather make one useful thing exceptional than make six things merely present.
